Specializing in portraits of kids, their families (from toddlers to teens!), and adults in the greater Merrimack Valley region of Massachusetts.
Perfectly posed? Eh, sometimes. A genuine smile and your personality captured? Yes, most definitely.
Carefully culled, expertly enhanced, creatively composed, but always with each persons unique beauty as the focus.
I use natural light, light modifiers (flashes, reflectors, and soft boxes, oh my!), amazing lenses (Canon for the win!) and posing to get everyone looking their very best.
Professionally curated print products by a former librarian who is obsessed with archival quality (yes, that would be me, Sally).
Printing your photos allows you to enjoy them now and for years to come.
No drives, clouds, cards , or plugs needed. (But of course, digitals are also available - just print them!)
I LOVE portraits. I’m obsessed with portraits. I’d paint your portrait if you’d just sit still for me. So, when people don’t sit still very well, I run around after them with my camera (with their permission, of course).
I offer on location or in-studio photo sessions within 30 miles of the greater Lowell, Massachusetts area.
Each session will last from 1 - 1.5 hours and includes a pre-photo shoot consultation.
Once we have decided on a shoot date, I will send you a contract and deposit invoice via email (you can sign and send the fee digitally or via snail mail).
The consultation will take place after you have booked your session and paid your non-refundable session fee to secure your photo shoot date. Please note that I am very flexible about rescheduling should something come up, so know that the deposit will get you a session even if you have to move your date.
During the consultation we will either discuss for about an hour or so in person or virtually who you are, who the folks getting their picture taken are and what makes them smile, locations ideas, outfit ideas, questions you may have, concerns you may have, and anything we need to go over to make the day of the shoot easy and breezy.
I offer digital only packages that include the session deposit, an online gallery and digital files. Please note that digital only packages include the session fee and are a fixed price all of which is due at the time of booking your session. Digital packages run between $350.00 and $940.00 are popular with people needing head shots and small businesses.
Print and digital Products
Most families and senior portrait clients opt for a combination of print and digital products. These products are available via value added collections (collections run from $688 - $1100), or at a la carte pricing. The pricing for the print and digital products is in addition to the session fee.
In this case, the session fee not only includes the pre-photo shoot consultation, but also a post-photo shoot photo presentation meeting. I aim to book this meeting right when we book the photo session so that it's all taken care of beforehand and you can get your images as soon as possible. At this meeting I will unveil your 15-25 fully edited photos in a slide show set to music and then we will go over small printed image proofs to pick your favorites.
Once we pick your favorites, we will go over product samples and match up your product needs with your image selections. I offer gift prints, wall prints, metal prints, gallery blocks, image folios, accordion books, 20 page custom designed albums, as well as digital files. When selections are finalized, I tally your invoice, the payment is made and I place the order for your products. In about two weeks, products arrive and I package them and get them to you quick like a bunny.
Some folks may feel that the presentation and ordering session meeting is more of a time commitment than they are comfortable with so veer towards just getting digital files. However! In fact, it is meant to actually take care of it all quickly and efficiently. This way you can spend less time deliberating over an online gallery wondering what to do and more time enjoying your gorgeous photos hanging on your walls as soon a possible. No need to feel guilty every time you see the flash drive from your last photo session sitting on you desk, it's already taken care of!
